About this journey

It is a great combination of two attractions and a splendid idea for a 1-day trip from Zakopane to the Pieniny National Park. We will start our adventure with rafting on the Dunajec river on wooden rafts with a real rafter. In the way like rafting has been going on for several hundred years! Itis one of the unique forms of sightseeing. We will reach the Szczawnica spa, where bikes will be waiting for us. Then we will begin a 1-1.5-hour bicycle trip to Sromowiec, from where a bus will pick us up. Returning to Zakopane, one more attraction awaits us; the Castle in Niedzica, which we know from the polish tv series “Janosik”. It is worth spending an hour to explore this building, that came to be in the fourteenth century.

Traditional rafting on the Dunajec river takes place every day during the rafting season. The rafting season starts on April 1 and ends on October 31 each year.
Both traditional rafting and rafting last about 2 hours and 15 minutes. This time may vary depending on the water level.
11 people can board the wooden raft, and the rafting boats come in a version of 12 or 15 people.

When you are standing on the upper Krupowki street near the pond, look down the street, there will be a street to your right. Our office is on this street - (ul. Na Gubałówkę 2a/21, 34-500 Zakopane).

MOUNTAIN.pl - Office, sales point and meeting point before the trip In the very center of the city (ul. Nowotarska 27b) is our office MOUNTAIN.pl (modern, glass container at the roundabout. It is where we meet before each trip.

How to find us?

Go down to the very bottom of Krupowki street and turn right. Follow the sidewalk all the time until you reach the second roundabout (Solidarity roundabout) - and you can see us.
Give the driver the address or enter it for your navigation - ul. Nowotarska 27b or type in google maps "Rondo Solidarności w Zakopanem". We have a FREE parking lot for our guests.

  • around 09:30 – Arrival and starting the Traditional Rafting on the Dunajec River

Before each trip, we meet in the city center in the Mountain office (ul. Nowotarska 27B). You should appear 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

  • Purchased ticket guarantees the performance of services for both parties and is equivalent to booking seats for a specific day. The event of cancellation by a customer makes the ticket fee not refundable.
  • The failure of the customer to appear on assigned time and the place stated in the ticket makes the ticket fee not refundable.
